Agri-VET RESEARCH
AgriVET produces a set of practical results designed to strengthen vocational training and support the development of skills across agribusiness value chains. Each result builds on the previous one.
The process starts with analysis, moves into training development and leads to tools and resources that can be used beyond the project. The results are organised across three main work packages.

Need assessment for Agribusiness Value Chains
This phase builds the foundation of the project. It focuses on understanding how the agribusiness sector works and where the main skills gaps are.
VET Market and Training Ecosystem Analysis Report
This report maps the structure of vocational education and training systems in the partner countries. It identifies key institutions, training offers and existing challenges. The analysis highlights how well current systems respond to the needs of the agribusiness sector.
Skills Gap Analysis Report
This output focuses on the mismatch between existing skills and labour market needs. It is based on stakeholder input, including VET providers, companies and policy actors. The report identifies priority areas for training and highlights the most critical skills gaps along the value chain.
International Best Practices Report
This report collects and compares successful approaches to training in agribusiness and related sectors. It highlights methods, tools and models that can be adapted across different contexts. The goal is to identify what works and how it can be transferred.

Capacity Building for Value Chain Managers
This phase translates research into action. It focuses on developing training solutions that respond directly to identified needs.
Capacity Building Programme on Value Chain Management
The programme introduces a new approach to training based on the concept of agribusiness value chain management. It combines technical, digital and business skills and focuses on real operational contexts. Training activities are tested through pilot actions involving trainers and learners in different countries. The programme supports the development of profiles able to understand and manage multiple stages of the value chain.
Sustainability and open educational resources
This phase delivers practical tools that can be used by different stakeholders and applied beyond the project.
Open Manual for VET Providers
This manual supports trainers and institutions in updating their teaching approaches. It provides guidance on how to integrate value chain thinking, digital tools and market-oriented skills into training programmes.
MOOC Platform
The platform offers open access training modules designed for learners, professionals and stakeholders. It allows flexible learning and supports the dissemination of project content to a wider audience.
Digital Toolkit for Aspiring Learners
This toolkit provides practical resources to support skills development. It focuses on tools that can be applied directly in agribusiness activities, including digital solutions and operational guidance.
Policy Recommendations
This output translates project findings into actionable insights for policy makers. It provides recommendations on how to improve training systems, strengthen collaboration between stakeholders and better align skills development with sector needs.
